Description:

DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is the most abundant adrenal steroid hormone in the body. After it is made by the adrenal glands, it travels into cells throughout the body where it is converted into androgens (i.e. testosterone) and estrogens. These hormones regulate fat and mineral metabolism, endocrine and reproductive function, and energy levels. The amount of each hormone that DHEA converts to depends on an individual's biochemistry, age, and sex. DHEA levels peak around age 25 and then decline steadily. DHEA supplementation has been associated with increased emotional well-being and immune function. BioMatrix’s pharmaceutical grade liquid DHEA is highly bioavailable and readily absorbed.

Directions:

Take 1-4 drops of DHEA sublingually, 1-2 times a day, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Cautions / Contraindications:

NOTE: This product contains alcohol as a base carrier for the active ingredient. This may cause burning in the mouth for some patients, therefore titration and sequencing with these formulas is strongly recommended.

DHEA is contraindicated with high estrogen, high testosterone, or high DHEA. Not to be taken by individuals under the age of 18. Do not use this product if you have, or are at risk of, breast, uterine, ovarian or prostate problems.
